Discover more about Sqills

Sqills is passionate about software for the public transport industry.
Our ambition is to create and deliver the best/world class inventory, sales, and distribution software
as market leader in public transport.

Over 160 colleagues design, develop, test, and support the innovative, secure, and reliable
S3 Passenger software. Adding value to our customers and being proud of what
we do lies at the core of our existence and successes.

We try to “exceed expectations” of customers and colleagues day in day out.

Our story

Ever since our inception in Enschede, the Netherlands in 2002, Sqills has known tremendous yearly growth. Within a decade we have quickly become an internationally recognised organisation for public transport inventory, sales, and distribution software.

While we have 33 renowned clients as our customer base based in nine countries in Europe and North America, this is just the beginning on our journey to worldwide coverage and global market leadership.

Our beliefs

Sqills is the worldwide market leader in terms of inventory, reservation and ticketing for the rail and bus industry. Within five years, Sqills will process over 500 million passenger segments per year, because:

  • Sqills is the preferred supplier for public transport operators with a commercial-off-the-shelf software suite with thousands out-of-the-box functionalities used by current S3P users.

  • Sqills de-risks implementations with S3 Passenger’s proven technology and high security standards. Operators also prefer configuration over customisation.

  • Sqills continues to invest in product features, technology and staff to remain best in class and stay ahead of the competition.

  • Sqills exceeds customers expectations by adding value through S3 Passenger and our team of highly qualified, knowledgeable and enthusiastic colleagues!

Our software testers work with our developers to ensure that the business- and/or customer requirements are met within our software and service. They document problems and ensure that the software is ready for a wide release.
The security team is a multi-disciplinary pool of resources in charge of implementing all necessary measures, procedures and tools to protect our mission critical software from outside threats.
Our business consultants ensure our implementation meets the business and technical needs for our customers and distribution partners. They work with our integration partners to understand the functional and technical client needs.
Our cloud engineers ensure that our clients’ mission critical applications are constantly available. They manage cloud environments and are constantly involved in rethinking strategies, solutions, and tooling.
