Sales is a primary process for any public transportation company. The complexity of the sales process for public transport companies is increasing. This is due to the increasing competition and consumer expectations. Innovation, revenue management, personalisation, and multi-channel are all necessary components to operate successfully. Sqills is a Dutch software supplier that has developed a SaaS product (S3 Passenger) that meets the needs of the public transport market.

Sqills opened a new office in Paris in January 2020 in order to serve our (future) customers in France, Spain and Italy. Within our Paris office business consultants and customer support engineers will work together closely with the product owners and DevOps team in Enschede (the Netherlands).

During (expected) upcoming S3 implementation projects that take between two and three years, our Sqills Paris team will be working alongside the teams of our customer. This will take place both in the Sqills Paris office and at the customer location.

What will you do?

We are actively looking for an experienced IT (project) manager capable of managing stakeholders on different levels in an organisation while working in a technology driven environment. Project managers at Sqills have detailed knowledge of S3 Passenger and can discuss topics with DevOps teams in detail. This hands-on culture makes Sqills agile and the teams autonomous.

The (project) manager will also be responsible as service/account manager for the existing customers and the primary contact for Sqills Paris in the future.

Part of the job (giving workshops, discussing requirements etc.) takes place at the customer’s location. This can be both inside and outside of France. You will also spend time at our new headquarters in Enschede in order to closely work alongside our DevOps teams.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience and success as a project manager. You offer advice that relates to crucial business insights for our customer. As such, they expect a sparring partner who has proven themselves. You can interpret the current trends within the transport sector and understand how Sqills offers added value. You remain critical but always think in solutions.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree;
  • A minimum of 3 years relevant work experience as a project manager on the supplier / delivery side;
  • Demonstrable experience in managing stakeholders on different levels;
  • IT / Technical knowledge to be able to communicate with DevOps teams;
  • Experience within an IT or Public transport environment is a benefit;
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English;
  • You can read situations and communicate in a tactful manner;
  • International experience is a benefit;
  • Willingness to travel to customers worldwide.
